The Process: a unique approach to creative image-making. The process begins with the exploration of the unconscious mind, an inward journey of discovery.
Leonardo daVinci urged us "...to look at a wall spotted with stains, you may discover a resemblance to various landscapes, beautified with mountains, rivers, rocks, trees. Or again, you may see battles and figures in action or strange faces and costumes, and an endless variety of objects which you could reduce to complete and well-drawn forms.” Drawing meditations (random marks on paper replace stains on a wall) are scanned into the computer and enhanced in the Photoshop Program. Images are then printed using RGB Lazer and Giclee print technology. It is a journey from NO-where to NOW-here. |

| Step2.Marks are scanned into Photoshop Program in the computer to digitize the image. | Step3.Motifs are moved about, the composition is altered, color is added and file sizes are adjusted for printing purposes. | Step4. Large files are sent to professional printers for RGB Lazer Prints on Fuji Crystal Archive Paper and/or Giclee prints on canvas. Frequently canvas works are further enhanced with glazes and varnish. Names come forth after the work is completed.
Many but not all MINDWORKS images are created using this process. |
